Three Freedoms
By Pastor Ronnie Wolfe -- May
26, 2004
Royal Freedom
We live our lives so care-free, enjoying every part,
Our lives uninterrupted, calmness in the heart,
Not thinking of the soldiers who gave their blood so free,
Laying down their own lives to ransom you and me.
Country pride, ambition, and happiness
we lust.
But just to have these freedoms, conflict is a must.
Our boys and girls are brave, a challenge to us all.
We must live in honor to justify their call.
Wave our flags in honor; justify the
good,
Tears of memories shedding, living as we should.
Don't forget the people who made this country free.
Honor them with vigor from sea to shining sea.
Religious Freedom
A trail of blood goes running through history's secret halls
From dedicated Christians who decorate their walls
With faithful testimony of freedom to believe,
And giving God's good message, a Savior to receive.
A battle raged with honor from souls
whose lives are pure.
They stayed the course tenacious their purpose to endure.
They fought the ghostly battle the enemy to win.
They knew their lovely Savior had justified their sin.
And looking o'er the record to read its lengthy prose
We find a humble army of saints in white arose
To stay the course so faithful and make a way for me
To give a humble witness in worship strong and free.
Righteous Freedom
Many died for Royal Freedom, graves in ordered rows.
See them now on yonder hill where bloom and bower grows.
Many died to prompt the cause, Religious Freedom won.
Lives were giv'n, faith was strong, a father and his son.
But only One was needed for Righteous
Freedom won
Jesus is the Master, the Father's only Son.
The One who gave his only life in ransom for the Fall.
For everyone believing was sacrificed for all.
Let us all be thankful for all our
freedoms here.
Let us worship Jesus and make our witness clear.
Let us keep on using our freedoms on this earth
To glorify our Savior and witness of new birth.
